Complete System Design
PFA has designed a large number of mix plants from 10 tph capacity to over 80 tph of finished product. We have also supplied packaging and mixing equipment to existing plants and the mineral industry. See our partial customer list covering the last 40 years. All phases of plant design, recommendation of equipment, detailed engineering, limited installation assistance and commissioning are included with every PFA project.
Packaging & Pallatizing
PFA can supply valve bag packers, open mouth scales and FFS packaging equipment from an extensive group of manufacturers. These companies offer the finest in engineering and performance. Along with the bag fillers we also have available both robotic and conventional bag palletizers with rate up to 40 bags per minute. Integrating with the palletizers are stretch wrap or stretch and place bags for full pallet stability and protection.
Mixers
Depending on finished product and throughput volume PFA supplies a number of mixer styles. These include planetary, horizontal ribbon or paddle as well as drum.

I came into the sacking business with no prior experience in blending or packaging dry products. My experience was in block/paver & roofing tile precast concrete products. Pete Foster took me under his wing and shared decades of experience in assisting me design and build our first dry mix blending and packaging operation which also included a sand drying operation. He has been a true mentor, and with his guidance we built a small footprint versatile operation that is doing everything we wanted it to do.
Following the success of our first project together, I asked Pete to help me spec out a powder packaging line consisting of 2 silos, 4 impeller packers, bag flattening, bag cleaning, and robotic palletizing. Once again Pete’s expertise was invaluable in completing another successful project, and once again the operation is doing everything we expected it to do.
