What sets us apart is our commitment to non-exclusive contracts, enabling us to recommend the most suitable industrial equipment for any given task. Our team of associates collectively holds hundreds of years of experience across various fields and industries. Whether you require consulting, engineering, process machinery, or comprehensive plant design, we have the expertise to assist you. Additionally, we offer services for a wide range of industrial applications, such as sourcing additives, formulating with your raw materials, and providing support in plant construction. If your specific needs fall outside our scope, we’re dedicated to helping you connect with the right company for the job.

Processing Equipment Products

Bag Fillers

We can supply all three styles of valve bag fillers: air, auger, and impeller. Each machine is engineered for your specific products. Open mouth bag fillers for paper, plastic, and plastic woven open mouth bags are available. Closing machines and packaging such as sewing machines, impulse sealers, and band sealers are available.

Bag Palletizers

Palletizers for bags that are capable of multiple bag patterns, layers, and bag sizes. Rates up to 35 bags per minute and complete system design and integration of process equipment. Robotic and conventional high-level bag palletizers can be engineered for your specific needs. Many options for complete palletizing systems are available.

Mix and Packaging Plants

We can engineer and supply complete mix and packaaging plants for a variety of building products and minerals. All process and packaging equipment is available for building products, bulk material and minerals. We are capable of retrofitting existing plants and designing industrial mixers to add product lines and increase production rates of existing products.

Exploring Industrial Robotics Solutions

Robotics technologies are revolutionizing industrial processing equipment and packaging machinery by enhancing efficiency, precision, and safety. Advanced robotic arms equipped with sensors and AI enable seamless automation of repetitive tasks, including bag filling and palletizing. These processing equipment innovations not only increase throughput but also reduce operational costs, driving industrial transformation.

PFA is part of this innovation, utilizing robotics technology in our industrial processing equipment. For example, we provide both robotic and conventional high-level bag palletizers, capable of handling multiple bag patterns and sizes at rates up to 35 bags per minute. Our bag fillers also include models with robotic valve bag placers that can fill up to 12 bags per minute, making them a vital component of your bulk materials packaging system, your food processing equipment, or other processing applications. Valve bags are used in myriad industries that rely on industrial processing, including as a common packaging solution for products such as powder, minerals mortars, and cement.

Benefits of Robotic Process Automation in Manufacturing

Whatever you manufacture — from mineral products to agricultural — incorporating robotics technology into packaging and processing equipment helps answer many challenges:

  • Labor Shortages: Robotics in process equipment automate repetitive or hazardous tasks, reducing dependence on a fluctuating workforce.
  • Consistency and Quality Control: Robots ensure uniformity in the packaging segment of your manufacturing process, minimizing human errors and improving production and distribution.
  • Hazardous Environments: Robotics-powered machines handle dangerous tasks involving extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, or heavy loads such as building products, enhancing worker safety.
  • Efficiency and Productivity: Processing robots work continuously without breaks, increasing throughput and reducing cycle times.
  • Space Optimization: Compact robotic systems maximize workspace utilization, thus reducing the processing and manufacturing equipment footprint in crowded industrial environments.
  • Customization and Flexibility: Our industrial process equipment accommodates varying product lines and changing demands. For instance, high-level robotic and conventional bag palletizers can be tailored to meet your specific requirements, whether for agricultural processing or more heavy-duty applications.

Sustainable Manufacturing Processes

Industrial process equipment that makes use of robotic automation also supports sustainable practices:

  1. Energy Efficiency: Robots are designed to operate with minimal energy usage, optimizing processes and reducing overall energy consumption.
  2. Waste Reduction: Precision in the processing industry minimizes material waste, improving resource utilization.
  3. Operational Longevity: Automation often extends equipment life, reducing the need for frequent replacements of industrial process equipment.
  4. Lower Carbon Footprint: Automation enhances production efficiency, reducing energy demands and emissions associated with manufacturing processes.
  5. Safer Work Environments: By handling hazardous tasks, processing and packaging robots reduce the risk of workplace incidents, which can contribute to long-term environmental and social sustainability goals.
